We just got done editing the second and third parts of the Barney review and are very close to posting them onto YouTube! Now, sit back, relax, and shout "This movie is fucking retarded" with DFGHulk and I as we commence the destruction of Barney's Great Adventure.
The good news is that, while I'm at DFGHulk's house, I can finish editing the other parts of the review that we intended to make. Yeah, we can get the rest of it done in one night now!
The bad news is that you guys will have to wait a while before it actually gets posted onto YouTube. Sit tight and stay tuned, though, for it will be posted in due time.
I wrote this song on October 18, 2013, about the frustrations with today's youth as felt by DFGHulk and I. This song is an amalgamation of our experiences with today's youth and our downright pessimistic outlook for the future.
There are seven parts:
Bass Guitar
Acoustic Guitar 1
Acoustic Guitar 2
Percussion
Drums
Tambourine
Keyboard 1
Keyboard 2
Vocals (not shown in this video)
The lyrics are as follows:
Oh! The madness never slows!
Oh! When we don't look, it grows!
Why, oh, why does this happen?
Why, just why? It seems nobody knows.
I only wanted to learn at my high school,
but, like any day, life's too damn cruel.
I try to do my work, but no one shuts their mouths;
they yell and scream and sag their pants, like a bunch of brain-dead fools.
Oh! The madness never slows!
Oh! When we don't look, it grows!
Why, oh, why does this happen?
Why, just why? It seems nobody knows.
I tried to ride my bus, one Monday after school,
but, like any day, life's too damn cruel.
Someone shrieked for way too long, and then the condoms flew.
I got so upset and so cross, it took a day for it all to lose its fuel.
What has this generation become to be so uncouth?
As far as I'm concerned, we're all such wasted youth.
Whatever deductions can be made don't need a master sleuth
to see that, in our bad future, we're all such wasted youth.
Here's the video (I apologize in advance for the poor video quality, although the audio is excellent):
