Quick Update

Before I start, let me just say that today is DFGHulk's 18th birthday. Now he's a legal adult, and I'm the only one of the Three Losers trio that is still a minor. Sometimes, it's good to be the youngest!

Anyway, I know I've neglected posting things here. I'm sure you guys know why, and I hope you understand why.

Two videos were posted so far this month. One is a demo of my music, and the other is a tribute to a bed. Says quite a bit about my schedule, doesn't it?

"Hoc Vae Mihi Est (demo)"
"Ode to a Beloved Bed"

I wonder what April will bring? We'll see.

Take care, and happy 18th birthday to Daniel. :)

P.S. This is my 100th post. A milestone post about a milestone birthday!

UPDATE: The Uncertain Near Future

As you guys might have guessed, I'm going through plenty of things right now. I'm very close to finishing my senior year, I have finals to do for my college classes, there's tons of things going on with my family in my home state of Texas (let's just say it's a real-life Family Feud if it was a debate club), and I've found out that we may or may not move after all.

I don't know if you guys know this, but I'm in a military family. My step-dad's been in the Army since 2002. From what I can recall, he joined so he could help stop the terrorists in the Middle East (9/11 was recent back then). What this means is that, every now and then, we get orders to move to different military bases. The first move (October 23, 2004) was to Germany, and the second move (August 1, 2007) was to Western Washington. At this point, we have five options.
  1. We stay here.
  2. We go to Arizona.
  3. We go to Connecticut.
  4. We go to Texas.
  5. We wait in Texas for a year while my step-dad is in Korea.
Herein lies the dilemma. I've lived in Washington for so long that it feels like home to me. Heck, I've lived here longer than I've lived in Texas. I almost don't want to move away from here. My neighborhood is by all means safe (the last murder here occurred in 2011, and the worst crime usually committed here is theft) and affluent (most of the people here are rich white folks who have white-collar jobs). I can't say the same for my hometown because my old neighborhood, while sleepy, is by all means poorer than my current one (most people who live there have blue-collar jobs).

At the same time, Texas is my home state. It's where I spent a good chunk of my childhood, and it's where all of my earliest memories live. Say what you want about my hometown, but I will love it for as long as I live. It may be a poor little city outside of Houston that nobody knows, but it's my poor little city outside of Houston that nobody knows. No matter what, I will always see myself as a small town boy.

If you're wondering about the family feud thing, I'm afraid I'll have to keep that mostly under wraps. All you need to know is that it directly involves me and an old house that everyone wants.

This dilemma gets closer and closer with every passing moment. I've had way too much to think about lately, and that's why I haven't been making as many videos lately. I know you guys understand, though, and I'm grateful to have fans as patient as you have proven to be.

Thanks for reading, and, as always, take care. :)
